Summary: Interview with Kartikeya Sarabhai, one of the world's leading environmental educators, and a dedicated community builder. Sarabhai is the director of India's Centre for Environmental Education (CEE), which he founded in 1984. Beginning as a small, local initiative, the Centre has grown into a national and international organization with 40 offices and 400 professional employees. It advances the cause of environmental education by working on the development of green curriculum with every state government in India and in every language in India, and also with governments, the media, educational institutions, and other organizations in Sri Lanka and Australia.
